Player Evaluation Plan
• The purpose of the Evaluation Day is to assess the player's skill level and use this information for the team player selections. The intent of the team player selection is to balance each team to ensure a competitive division.
– Who: Baseball divisions 7/8, 9-12, 13
– When: Saturday March 20th through Sunday 21st , 2010
– Where: Chanhassen High School
– What: Players do an Evaluator Catch, Pitching & Catching, Base Running, Base Hitting, and Situational Fielding
– Uniform: athletic clothes, gym shoes (no cleats), glove, and optional bat.
• Players must register and attend the evaluations to participate in the League. Exceptions can only be approved by the Little League President.
• Check the CAA website for updates or weather cancellations.

Organize
Number order, form groups, prepare score sheets

Move in groups, record scores

• Players are evaluated in six skills
– Pitching (not Age 7/8)
– Catcher (not Age 7/8)
– Hitting
– Fielding
– Evaluator Catch/Throw
– Base Running
• Skills weighted for final Evaluation Rating
